Hello 😎 I am Wanqin (Francesca) Ma. I’m a year 3 PhD candidate at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, supervised by Professor.Ross Murch. I spent my undergraduate years at the same institution, majoring in Electronic and Computer Engineering and Mathematics (Computer Science Track).

I am passionate about inverse scattering problems, computer vision, machine learning, and their application in the future 6G. Please take a look at my publication for more details.

Dec 21, 2025: Two new papers published, congratulations! I’m thrilled to share the work exploring the Wi-Fi transceiver used for 6G Frequency Diversity Analysis for Extended Rytov Approximation published in IEEE APS/URSI 2025; And another work related to my undergraduate work in CMRxMotion Challenge 2022, Extreme cardiac MRI analysis under respiratory motion: Results of the CMRxMotion challenge published in Medical Image Analysis, a top journal with IF 11.8.

Jun 3, 2025: I’m invited to be a co-author of the summary paper of the CMRxMotion Challenge 2022 in MICCAI. Good luck with the publication.

Jul 15, 2024: I graduated from HKUST with Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Computer Engineering and additional major in Mathematics.

Feb 2, 2024: New paper (Why) Is My Prompt Getting Worse? Rethinking Regression Testing for Evolving LLM APIs has been accepted as a short paper in CAIN 2024 and has been camera-ready. I’m looking forward to the ACM published version.
